We’re aware of people door-knocking in the Nottingham area. We don’t door step people, so please make sure you check id’s and be careful what personal information you are asked to disclose.

To keep our people safe we're still running a limited phone service. Our call centre teams are still very busy helping vulnerable customers and those with emergencies like a loss of electricity or gas.

If you need to submit a meter reading or pay your bill – that’ll definitely be faster from your online account.

Bespoke energy prices for your business

Our experts will spend time understanding your business and how you use energy to give you our best possible price. No hidden fees and no extra costs, just a clear and simple fully inclusive price for your business.

Fully inclusive pricing

If you are comparing our tariff prices to other suppliers, make sure you've checked for any separate pass through costs.

Energy prices change all the time as Gas and Electricity Markets fluctuate, and particularly for businesses, there are a number of other factors that dictate your price.

The personalised and fully inclusive tariff price we will quote you will be based on how much gas and electricity your business uses in a year and all the other 'non-commodity' costs of getting energy to your business. These non-commodity costs can vary and cover everything from the actual energy generation, the network infrastructure to get it to your business, right down to the type of meter(s) you have.

Because our tariffs include everything and are fixed, it means the price you get from us will be exactly what you pay. No hidden charges or variable costs that creep up over time.

Just simple, clear and fairly priced energy so you can concentrate on running your business, not checking your energy bills.

What's in our prices?

Your energy price is made up of 'commodity' costs which is the cost of the energy you use and the 'non-commodity' cost which is everything else from generation to getting the energy to your business.

These non-commodity costs generally rise over time and some energy suppliers pass through these costs separately to the tariff price that they quote you. It means if the non-commodity prices go up, you're on the hook and your bills go up.

We don't do that, our prices are fully inclusive so the price we quote you is exactly what you'll pay for the term of your contract.

We don't do pass through costs

What VAT rate do I pay?

All our quotes are exclusive of VAT and most businesses will need to pay the usual 20% rate of VAT.

However, some eligible organisations will only need to pay 5% VAT on their energy. To be eligible your business will need to be either:

  • Non-profit-making, such as a charity or hospital, or
  • Use less than 4,397 kWh gas or 1,000 kWh electricity in any given month.
    Good to know:
If your usage falls below this threshold, we'll automatically calculate the VAT rate on your bill.
  • Or hold a valid exemption certificate

This is different from the residential VAT rate where all energy includes VAT at 5%

Is your contract ending?

We don't want our customers to pay more than they need to for their energy, so before your fixed contract price ends your account manager will contact you with a new all inclusive and fixed rate energy quote.

You can discuss the quote and when you're happy, lock in your energy prices for another year. If you don't choose another fixed rate tariff when your current tariff ends then you'll be out of contract and move on to our out of contract rates.

The out of contract rates are more expensive than our fixed rate tariffs so it's worth getting organised with your new tariff before your current one ends.
